If even an age-old canal house can be sustainable, can't it be possible anywhere?

Wubbo Ockels , Astronaut and founder De Groene Grachten

For years we have wanted the impossible: solar panels on our prominently visible monumental roof. Now we can generate our own energy!

Egbert Fransen , Director Pakhuis de Zwijger

Thanks to the new double glazing and the replacement of the old gas boiler, the gas tap in our monumental building was one step further to being closed. Two birds with one stone; greatly improved thermal insulation, but also a noticeable and highly desirable reduction in noise pollution from the street and the water.

Family Overweg , Keizersgracht

We have preserved our National Monument from 1657. We started with The Green Menu. De Groene Grachten then provided excellent advice and provided insight into what is possible, how sustainable it is and how profitable it is. They also offered assistance with the permit application to the municipality. We are very satisfied with the result!

Karin Kersten , Director Facility Management and Manager of the year, ABN AMRO
